New Star

European astronomers "found" this strobe light star which belongs to a long-sought family of compact "neutron" stars. Scientists believe it to be something called a Magnetar which, according to the article “would wipe the information from all credit cards on Earth from a distance halfway to the Moon." Pretty cool, Chris made me watch the Universe documentary on the History channel... lot's of interesting stuff!
